          Any Duel phase Optical encoder should work. See User Manual.

How do I get more pulses from my encoders?

          You may gear drive your encoders, or purchase encoders with greater pulses per revolution.

          NO, the operating system must support Microsoft's HID technology. Currently Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP are supported.

          Yes, Direct input 5+ must be installed on your system.
