Does Mechanical encoders require power?

          YES, power for encoders can be obtained from the Sim-Addicts Sim Controller Card.

Does the Sim-Addicts Sim Controller work with Mechanical or Optical Encoders?

          Mechanical encoders may be used but not recommended,  Optical encoders are supported and provide a more reliable input signal.

Can I connect my Vendor Specific joystick or wheel/pedals to the Sim-Addicts Sim Controller Card?

          The Sim-Addicts Sim Controller Card is intended to be a platform on which Sim designers can advance their Sim            Designs. Only devices, which support a standard analog connection will work with the analog port of the Sim-Addicts Sim Controller Card. Vender specific digital joysticks or wheels with vender specific joystick drivers will not function through the Sim-Addicts Sim Controller Card.
