Technical Overview

The 20 Mhz. Main processor of Development Board B. handles
I/O and Interrupt requests from the Full Speed USB controller and the Encoder Sub-Processor.  The Main processor also performs 10 Bit analog conversions, Button inputs and USB report formatting.  The Encoder Sub-Processor (SA-001) processes all encoder changes and buffers changes to the Main CPU.   SA-001 was designed to remove the over-head of quadature movement detection from the Main processor, and limit the amount of 'slip' caused by overloading the Main processors integrated stack.

Development Board B.

The slim-line process of encoder change management provides precision axes movement, along with the 20 Mhz Main processor event and interrupt handler routines give this development board fluid control monitoring.   Adding in a powerful 10 bit A to D conversion process with serial diagnostics/ monitoring and a USB delivery system completes the Development B. board shown below:
